A 1k product has one component which generally will be clear coat or primer, these products are known as air dry materials which can take up to 24 hours to completely cure.
A 2k product has two components, your clear or primer and a catalyst. These products are chemically cured and can be done curing in as little as 60 minutes. These products contain isocyanides and it is strongly recommended to wear a proper respirator when using it.
Yes, we can put most solvent based paints into a spray can.
For the base and clear a 1.2mm – 1.4mm tip should be used.
For primer a 1.6mm – 2.5mm tip should be used (Note: primers can have much different solids content which is why there is a wider range of primer tips, the higher the solids the bigger the tip).
